my ham is getting old sleeps so much i hardly see her she gone bald due to suppressed immunity a terrible skin condition to help her and get medicine// i miss her so much . ie free roaming the floor all night and talking to her/ these hams are cuties i have had hams all my life they are wonderful .funny cute creatures .i just love them xx

Please don’t keep Hamsters in the same cage, they will fight! It makes sense to keep them together as babies, but please… separate them as they grow older or they will fight..

That wheel is too small for the mother, and I’m not a fan of the design. It looks very easy for a baby to get its head stuck in it while trying to get on or off when another one is running.

Mom wasn't eating its bedding. Hamsters like shredding up things such as toilet paper into smaller bits. Makes for a better nest surrounding.

You don't clean the cage for the 1st 3 weeks after the babies are born, and you don't handle them either. If you disturb her and them she either will abandon them or eat them.

Pain in the ass to raise compared to mice. Plus I read that pythons will get a taste for a certain rodent and will only eat that type. Don’t do it unless you have a plentiful long term supply.
