Hope you had a great Christmas... I am really not a thick person....BUT.....I am really struggling to get the codeplug programming sorted. There is no video that I have found that really shows the correlation of the Zones, Channels, Contacts an TG's etc. Is there any way you could show a codeplug with just a couple of Zones and then show how they are accessed on the radio itself, and how the contacts and channels interact. Do you select by contact or zone on the radio, do you have to replicate all of your frequencies or channels or contacts to be used on a hotspot??/ There's such a lot of basic information lacking in most vids on KZbin, although yours tend to be the best of the bunch, I would like to see the whole screen when you are programming and not have the radio picture taking up a third of it (kinda makes it hard to see what's going on). Love your stuff, but I think I'm not the only one that would like to see a very basic instructional video on how the parts of the codeplug interact with each other to make the building blocks clearer. One area is where do you have to input your hotspot details and how does that link in with talk groups (if at all) etc... Would really appreciate it as I don't have that much hair left to pull out....

Got this but never had a DMR before. Finding it difficult to get set up. It randomly forgets my DMR ID, have been trying to program from the radio. Would rather use a repeater than my own hotspot as using my radio with my own hotspot feels little different from just using an app on my phone to access DMR....was hoping i might be able to listen to all the digital signals i kept encountering on scanning with my analogue radio but has ended up being quite challenging! Would quite like to be able to listen to local shopwatch etc which had moved to DMR. Anyone know where i can find a very simple idiots guide to how to get this working and scanning etc? Shluld say i hace rhe same radio with opengd77 installed

I've just received the same radio from the same supplier but unfortunately mine has no audio on the dmr that I can't seem to fix.

ok, im not doing something right. i got to select the donor file, and it will not show it regardless which radio type i select. I dont know what im doing wrong.

When you go to select donor file look bottom right where is says file type drop it down select it then the file will show .
