No it’s not rice pudding. It’s not made with rice but couscous.

i have a question, is it also called hamza in fulani because i know my mom makes it sometimes but my siblings and i just called it the thiakry with the big balls 😂 and i have been binge watching your videos lately and i find them so helpful, thank you!

😂😂😂 Thiakry with the big balls, that made me laugh. It’s a good way of explaining it though. I think thiakry is when it’s made with the millet grains. This one is called Hamza. At least that’s what I heard people call it in Guinea. And thanks for watching the videos and taking the time to comment. I’ll call you Tokora since we have the same name ☺️

@@afromomspices lol 😂 your not completely wrong chakiry/thakiry can be made with either millet grain or just couscous . Some put both. I think In sengambia we don’t use couscous pearls.
