I've watched literally all of his fancams and one of the most distinguishing traits of him among literally ALL the Idols I know is his openness, his sincerity. He takes pure pleasure in his work, his facial expressions are very lively and expressive, and he's only too happy to work with those facial expressions while performing, showing his joy at the fact that he's standing on stage. The guy literally can't hold back his smile when he performs - that's how much he's in love with the concept of an idol and that's how much he lives this work. If he doesn't show his happiness when he performs, it's only when the song is filled with sadness and longing - then he gets into the genre of the song and delivers the lyrics with the right emotion. It's because of this that his stage presence is one of the craziest in the group. And his high vocal/rap skills also stem primarily from his love of music. Some people have a goal of improving their skills in order to make themselves better, show more, and surprise the viewer, but Han's very first and foremost reason is his love for music. The guy started teaching himself vocals all over again just so he could write more songs, do his own demos and perform more genres, and you can't get far with just rapping. A lot of people say it's an innate talent, but it's pretty obvious that it's just passion.

Stray Kids is one of my favorite groups because you can see their passion for what they do in each performance, they truly want to be there and as a fan it feels like I'm making their dreams come true by watching and cheering for them. And I think no one embodies that feeling better than Han, he looks so happy on stage and he puts so much energy and passion behind every move and facial expression, it never feels forced. As kpop stan for almost 10 years, for me, it's so rare to find idol like HAN... Being main rapper, but also in charge on almost all difficult/hardest/highest note vocal, but also being centre on some dance break. Like if you can't handle hard rap, high note, and difficult choreo, hand it over to HAN, everything will be alright... Especially when ex main vocal (w*oj*n) left skz, HAN almost cover all his part, cause he's one of members who can handle high note... Han was definitely born to be a performer. When asked what he would have done if he did not become an idol, it was always going to be in the performing arts. He grew up with music, since his dad was in a rock band and rock is his favourite genre. He is mostly self-taught, though he did start going to DEF Academy once he joined JYPE (or just before) and he has recently been re-training himself to change his singing style. I assume he has a vocal coach helping with that, as it can't be easy to do on your own. I love how he can switch to different rap styles so easily (Hey Day is one of my favourites, along with Carpe Diem, I See and Scissors). He is also one of the fastest to pick up the choreography, and the one most likely to forget it, along with the lyrics (especially if he wrote them 😂) While he might play the absent-minded fool sometimes, he is anything but. the ace title given to him is just not a title he totally deserves that. aside from rap, vocals and dance, he's a producer and lyricist, he's responsible for the entire skz discography alongside chan and changbin (called as 3racha - the producer unit of skz), he has great stage presence and he's also good with studies as he passed elementary, middle and highschool GED at 15 and 16 yrs old (korean age), he's a freestyle genius and has great thinking capacity (there's a video called han jisung ending thieves careers, you can see how smart he is in this) and if you have time try watching his silent cry and lalalala fancams I'm literally obsessed with them 😭 also this video is a old one and he has improved so much after this! Han is the perfect storm of born talent, unwavering dedication, and also time! Han graduated high school early thru homeschooling so actually, his 3 years as a trainee was entirely devoted to honing his talents and skills. So even tho he had a trainee period as long as Seungmin and Hyunjin for example, he may have had even more time than them to practice. He said so himself that sometimes he regrets not experiencing a korean high school but then he realizes he instead got to use all that time for training.
