Lots of work went into this and it’s quite beautiful. He memorized everything from the articulations, notes, and dynamics. He plays very strong and confident! Better than me that’s for sure. When he moves, he moves with the music which makes you kinda dig into the music more and gives a more musical affect. I did that at All City, All Region and Tryouts for Varsity Band.
@hvaladez33549 жыл бұрын
It's not as easy as it looks,remembering the notes,tonguing each note,and placing your fingers on each "hole" without messing up takes YEARS of practice.
@elliotfryatt47548 жыл бұрын
I don't want to judge you or anything but he's not actually tonguing all of the notes he's sluring most of them and also you learn most if not all of the notes by at least grade 5 (and yes I play clarinet btw) again no hate😊
@mc61488 жыл бұрын
The hardest thing is to get the right sound. I have played the clarinet for two years and I am quite decent at all the things "BaskettBall101" mentioned. However, his sound is much, much, better than mine. Proper control of your breath and the way and the heat of the air you input takes many hours of dedication and practice every day.

+CB31Talks(WhilePlayingGames) I'm pretty decent but don't get a head of yourself it takes ALOT more than just practice you Need teachers that will teach you properly, natural talent, and just a lot of potential and hard work if you want to reach this level you can't just simply have a good reed and practice once in a while and reach this level of perfection it takes YEARS

Instead of being discouraged by this, use it to do better. I am a music major and I found this discouraging at first, but then I realized instead of wishing and hoping that one day I will be able to play at a level like this, I would practice and work at it. People like Han Kim didn't come out of the womb playing clarinet (as surprising as it might seem), they had lessons--people to help them grow so he can be at this level. But mainly he had passion and drive. Whenever I listen to pieces by professionals, or people years younger than I am, I don't think that I want to be like them, but i will be. It'll take time, but I'm willingly to wait because when the time comes, it'll be one hell of a performance.

I bet this boy still uses a 5 toughness reed
@samelliott55327 жыл бұрын
Alan Guo the strength of the reed isn't really a measure of skill, since the strength of the reed has to fit the mouthpiece to get a nice sound. Some more skilled players play better on softer reeds just because that's what sound the best on their mouthpiece
