@@bboymonk3y i can believe that but also not? ya know lol? like that takes extra work and money to do and i guess im just used to studios taking the cheaper way out, annnnnd because their are drifters that have used AWD cars and Keiichi Tsuchiya being the one actually doing the drifts in the movie who has definitely drifted a AWD car a time or two makes me thing they didnt. Of course this is just an opinion of someone thats not bothering to use google right quick to actually confirm it lmao.

Yeah when it comes to "drifting" especially in competitive drifting it's always RWD cars. The EVO was commonly converted especially with team orange who I believe had like 3 or 4 converted evos AND subarus from different years. It's probably really fun to drive that way too.

Evos are AWD, but it’s easy to remove the front axle the transmission to make it an RWD. It’s not as simple as that though, because there’s still more work to be done than just removing the axle.
