HAN-AH-BEE-AY are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Reiwa Matching Generation also has clean vocalist (and guitarist) Matsuri rapping - and she’s very good at it. Hanabie really do have something extra special. Their music isn’t overly complex, and they aren’t Saki level virtuosos (yet) but my god do they have talent and innovation by the bucket load. Hanabie - the return of the winter chill in spring. Turns out that cold snap will take your breath away! 😜

As mentioned by a few “Maximum the Hormone” is the perfect next step…Hanabie started as a coverband of them…a lot of female drummers did pick up drums because of Nao the female drummer of mth! Startingpoint would be “Alien” or “Maximum the Hormone II”

Love the reaction! Welcome to the rabbit hole. At this point, there’s no turning back so just absolutely indulge yourself into their whole discography. Their album “Girl’s Reform Manifest” has no bad songs in it, and their older EP “Cherry Blossoms are Blooming” is awesome too. If you’re looking for a place to start, check out “Ghost Mania”. Loved your reaction. “Ha-Na-Bi-Eh” (はなびえ) are Yukina (Vo.), Matsuri (Gu., Vo.), Hettsu (Ba.), Sae (Dr.). You heard all three vocalists on the track. Their metal cover of the pop song Odo (Dance!), by Ado is an amazing earworm (check out the original, too).

Hanabie (Correct pronounciation is 4 syllables: Hah-Nah-Bee-Ehh" not 3 "Han a bee") are doing a livestream from the their practice room this weekend, I think it's 11PM Friday night US time (December 11, 2021 at 1:00PM Japan Standard Time). You really can't go wrong with Hanabie (hah-na-bee-eh). Everything they've done is gold. Unfortunately, my favourite songs from them doesn't have videos, but they are Sunrise Miso Soup, Invisible Wall, Genkai Numa Life. Just found this reaction. Cool! Hanabie (pronounced HAHN-a-bi-ǝ) This is what you get when Babymetal and Maximum the Hormone have a love child. They actually started in high school, playing MTH covers. Clearly one of THE new metal bands to watch. Most of their songs are quite pointed, concerning social issues like dating app abuse, drugs, prostitution, cheating etc. “We Love Sweets” is about having an unhealthy relationship to sugar. Members: Vocalist (Harsh, rap)- Yukina Guitarist and Clean vocals - Matsuri Bassist and backing vocals - Hettsu Drums - Sae They just dropped their first EP. Their producer is Gaku Taura, who is a support drummer for Crystal Lake. He has his own studio, Soul Japan.
