Ngl, this is the first female interaction of astel where I felt zero urge to cringe. Everything felt so natural from the way he approached hanabu to the way he kept offering help. I also feel the same abt hanabu's reactions this time. Usually she would go for overreacting or comedy route but this feels like an interaction that I'd see offstream among friends. I personally won't count this one in astel's curse list 😌

@@devilvocano420 people have been jokingly calling astel a curse for a while now whenever he interacts with girls and he tries to be "romantic" in a way (mostly just flirting). I think his curse arc started with niu from neoporte (not 100% sure tho). If u haven't watched any "curse" related clips, I recommend the hinano arc (the apex and valo one). He was so unhinged even when he wasn't streaming 😆

@@devilvocano420 it started with his collab with Hinano & former Neo-Porte, NaYuta. he even explained it on his interview with Tamaki. his collabs with Niu just followed after. . it was called 'Curse' initially because he played Mad Maggie and a lot of the Apex Vsai participants were complaining of him basically being called 'the guy that everyone hates' hence the 'Curse'. he evolved to a 'Special Grade Curse' from his collab with Hinano & NaYuta. the way he approaches the flirting is what they call in Japan as 'Onna no Teki' translates as 'Every woman's enemy' so getting hate from most women + getting hate from Mad Maggie hence the 'Special Grade Curse'.
