In an interview along with redjuice, she said she started in the industry as an animator doing work for shows like Kill La Kill, Panty & Stocking which is why she's very skilled and familiar with the stretch and squash concepts found in animation. It was later on in her career that she switched to illustration, but she kept those animation concepts in her work which is why it's always so dynamic.

That’s so real I’m in the same boat, I just keep reminding myself that I’d rather try everyday then be at the same place I am now with my art than If I really try for a year, even if you feel bad keep trying! And if you don’t feel like it don’t worry you can always do something the next day! :)

No pain, no gain T^T On the serious side, a concept I've been trying to drill into my head that's been helping me immensely is: "Progress is progress." You don't have to devote even a full hour every day, but as long as you do SOMETHING, you will be improving. A little every day is better than a lot once a month!
