Either bacteria or fungus I believe.

I would slap my mom and kill for that bull. Holy crap! That hood rot is sad. Put them out of their misery and salvage what you can. I’ve always wanted to hunt kapowsin but it seems only the rich get the permits. Need to do more research now that I’m older and if I want to hunt it I don’t know how many more years I have of good packing left in me. Got wounded in 2009 and last year was the first year I needed help packing my elk out. Sigh

I drew a bull tag this year for modern. I see tons of bulls but nothing like this. I’m in there 2-3x a week hiking.

Just in my back yard I see 😉 I haven't seen much for hoof rot this year but some sign of it in orting on a very farms I trap beaver for

Nice bull! We should meet up sometime and go after some coyotes! I'm out there all the time, looking in animals.
