@@Marktk72 shot placement is the difference. If you hit ribs (or even spinal bone) going in and going out, you're going to transfer a _ton_ of energy breaking through.

@@Marktk72 hollow points are designed to dump all their energy into the target. Over-penetration is a waste of energy and a liability at the same time With FMJs, even 9mm will go all the way through a torso like this, you can watch Garand Thumb’s recent video about 9mm vs. .45 to see that

Next time you do one of these tests I'd be curious to see what would happen at more realistic ranges with hand cannons. 10 yards, 20 yards, 50 yards. For rifles do 50, 100, 200 yards if possible.

Another fun vid. This is my idea for a Christmas vid . You'll need time to practice. Play Jingle bells on the steel targets. It's a simple tune. Anytime a steel target is hit it makes a tone. I believe you could find someone to tune a few for you and then can you play simple songs. It would take someone who can absorb the rifle kicks like you do. And no one else is doing it.

I’ve never understood how people double fire a .500 S&W revolver. And then I saw the slowmo of you shooting that 700gr hardcast. Under recoil, the firearm pressed back into your palm, making your finger come off the trigger. You came REALLY CLOSE to resetting the trigger. You then pulled the trigger back. Had you reset the trigger, that would have been two shots. Crazy given how strong you look, and how well you handle recoil.
