Hand Controlled Cars For Differently Abled People - Mobility Solutions

This video serves the purpose of a brief description of our Hand Controls.
Our Controls are Government Approved ( ICAT ) and have gone through all the safety tests required.
These hand controls are high quality floor mounted controls with pull - push mechanism for brake and accelerator. The controls can be installed in automatic and manual transmission cars for brake and accelerator. A person with both lower limbs disability can drive an automatic car with these controls and these can be installed in a manual transmission car if a person is right leg disabled. They can be installed with special knobs which are suitable to persons with limited hand grip. They are highly safe and easy to use and cause no damage to the car. No cutting, drilling or welding is required in the car for the installation. They blend very well with the car interiors and are supplied with matching leather covers. These controls are dual in nature so that the car can be driven by hand controls and by foot pedals too.

There can be two levers, one for clutch and another for break and accelerator which you have seen in the video. Auto clutch is a good technology, if someone's have a manual car. It's an automatic car and for manual transmission watch our video on auto clutch.

And while doing so in an automatic car, one has to use their other hand to control the brakes and only then you could shift the gear. And its not risky, as the car is already at rest.

For manual you'll need autoclutch too. These controls are for brake and accelerator.

@@nrk450 Automatic transmission car is always the safest and easiest option. If you can afford one that would be best, because you have to change the gears in manual, even after the installation of auto clutch. Auto clutch eliminates the clutch pedal by providing a sensor on the gear knob which operates the clutch pedal. So the automatic car is always a feasible option.
