Idk why, but this song defines academia. I’m in college, a PhD student. Have been in academia at a large state school for 6 years now. Every time I walk on a cold, windy fall evening from the library to my apartment, I feel like this song resonates with my life. Stumbled on this song tonight and low and behold, it's a rainy night. Probably just a coincidence. Or maybe it's just perfect timing for the mood I'm feeling. Tomorrow they will be enforcing a vaccine passport in my hometown of Toronto, Canada. And although I knew this day was coming way back when this whole scamdemic began I still can't believe it's here.
