Ich bin mir nie ganz sicher ob so ein Druck noch Kunst ist. Die Kupferplatte und ihre Herstellung selbst ist eindeutig Kunst. Die Drucke selbst sind ja keine Unikate. Man müsste schon die Anzahl streng begrenzen und danach die Druckplatte unwiederbringlich zerstören. Ist dann eine Stückzahl von 5 Wertvoller als 1000? Die Druckplatte war die gleiche Arbeit und das 5. Papier ist genau so schön wie der 1000. Druck.

Dear Sebastian, Thank you for the comment. I agree with the many points you raise. I usually do not like the word "art". I typically refer to myself as a printmaker and engraver. That would make me more of a craftsman than an artist. I don't try to convey deep concepts or emotions in my work.
