My home base. Pacific Air Center is where I’m hangared but it’s now OCR Aviation. I can relate to the “mission” stuff. I hadn’t done a “fly low and sight see” in years until a few weeks ago when I went up to Portland, OR to see a concert with my nephew. He wanted to take a ride so we did a low level tour of the volcanoes, and a close-up around Mt. St. Helen. So much fun! Also, hi Rich 😊

First time I ever flew a Bonanza was out of John Wayne when me and my instructor picked up N337D after I bought it. We then flew it to Texas to its new home. I had 20 hours in a 172 at the time. lol

Flying short routes, single pilot, in SoCal, and in a jet...will test even the most experienced aviator. A lot can happen quickly and it's easy to get behind the airplane.

Great episode! PS: When you switched from the ILS 30 to land 26, of course you would have communicated with tower. Would have liked to have heard that. And dittoes to the person who commented that Rich is a very calm co-pilot!

Let me tell you you choose the right instructor very clear the way how he saeting on his seat watching you with full confidence. That he can Recover any second and you are in the safe hand Just to let you know After V1 Jet pilot left their hands from the thrust liver to controlling both hands in the flight control And remember these planes not me to flyby hands unless emergency not like small airplanes. you have to be ahead of the Aircraft thanks for sharing
