Hand Forging a Bearded Axe - Part 2

Blacksmith Dave Budd shows the process of hand-forging a Bearded Axe and then crafting the handle harvested from his woodland. Filmed on location in his workshop on the Northern edge of Dartmoor. Part 2 shows the crafting of the axe handle from wood harvested from Dave Budd's woodland, along with the heat treatment and finishing of the Bearded Axe.

Great videos man. While I am not particularly fond of the straight handle, the curved handle was really cool. Loved the mirror finish edge and the rough forged look of the rest of the axe.
