Was it a specific S7-1500 PLC model, or does it not matter? Can it also be applied using S7-1200?

S7-1200 CPUs have OPC UA server as of firmware 4.4 and S7-1500 as of firmware 2.5. You can use either or as long as the CPU has OPC UA server.
