Could I suggest two more videos for your Siemens LOGO series? 1. Share data, across the LAN, between two LOGOs. I1 on LOGO1 has an action on LOGO2? 2. Now that LSC 8.4 has been released it allows for e-mails to be sent out via the LAN, if true this will be a life changer.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm not set up for multiple LOGO!s at the moment but I'll check what can be done on the simulator. I wasn't aware that 8.4 had been released. I'm out of date already!

@@QuickPLC-kh5of This requires a new 8.4 model logo with firmware 1.84.03 and LSC 8.4.1 (8.4 with SP1) for the e-mails. It works via the LAN, no other comms modules needed for alarm e-mails for example.

Hello. I love your videos and detailed instructions on how to use LOGO! functions. Idea for a future clip - I have had trouble finding tutorials covering analog to digital conversion. ex: analog input signal defines if the three speed motor will run in I, II or III speed.. so analog input signal defines three digital outputs as a step controller. this is also rarely discussed in the siemens forum topics as well..

I used Inductive Automation's Ignition system. The Perspective module is designed for browser applications. The full software is expensive but you can use the two-hour trial mode indefinitely (with a manual reset) or use the free Maker edition. They have an Inductive University with online training. I'm hoping to make a video of using Ignition as a HMI for the LOGO! I'm glad you liked it.
