this entire training was incredible. I truly believe every person working in long term care and with people with dementia should watch these - EVERYONE. from nurses to aids to directors and on. This gave me so many wonderful ideas about my own role and things I can do at work but also talked to a lot of things about my mom, who is in likely mid stage dementia. How do I get the people who work with her to care for and about her. ...

I really appreciate that she uses the social model of disability--focusing on their abilities and not defining them (or anyone) by their disabilities. I feel enriched by this series. I too wish that nursing homes everywhere used this series during orientation.
