Everytine I feel it's getting hard to practise hand lettering I always end up watching your video, getting motivation and after that I can start again. I am still a newbie. I always want to try hand lettering but since I'm lefty it hesitate me even more to start. But you made me start this. I still have along way ahead hopefully I will not give half way. Thank you for keep inspiring. I'm wondering how many years did you took to master all the lettering style? I'm still stuck at 'a' for three days 😁.

(Before I ever start... this became a very long comment but i had so much to say to you Sarah, that i just spoke from my heart and THIS happened. Apologies my dear😢) Hi Sarah! My name is Susan and I want you to know how VERY MUCH your videos and tutorials have helped me get out of a very dark place. I was just very alone after losing "my person" and I couldn't get me out of my own way to begin healing. I needed a pleasant distraction😊.... The Universe heard my plea and POOF💥there you were!! I always hear people who share videos in here say, "I got this great email from_____". I've looked and looked but I cannot find an email address or any other way to contact you except here, in the "comment" section of your videos. I'm no crazy stalker or an obsessed fan, I have so many questions and compliments I'd like... no.. that I'd LOVE to share with you. I bought your beautiful hard cover book HAND LETTERING FOR BEGINNERS😊. I guess Amazon can't keep enough on hand to send to any more people😂..I had to wait for almost 1 month for mine to arrive and yesterday was THE DAY!!! I am looking at mine right now and I LOVE IT!!!! It's so colorful and easy to read! I love how you designed it. Coil/Spiral Binding is THE BEST WAY EVER to publish and design a workbook! It makes it possible to put my tracing paper right on top of the page I'm working on. I'll just try and come up with the "Best thing" about the book but... there are TOO MANY "BEST THINGS"!! You've helped me get back to being me and you've helped changed my life for the better in so many ways but mostly you've just given me something to study and learn and accomplish. I've always been UBER FASCINATED with handwriting; mine, yours, anybody's, It didn't matter, I just loved watching people write. I'd always thought KZbin was for kids to post videos of people doing silly things. 😂 boy was I out of touch with reality or what? I was always out doing things with my husband. I was never alone, just being still long enough to begin a hobby. And then in the blink of an eye, my life changed forever. I had far too much empty time on my hands and... well ... as is told, "Idle hands are the Devil's workshop".... That is VERY TRUE! My hands are no longer idle. My broken heart is still broken but... "They" say...(I've always wanted to meet "Them.. the ones who always have the right things to say about EVERYTHING!) "Time heals all wounds", they say... but this time THEY are wrong!!! Time does NOT take away our pain!... We just learn to make room for it. I'm getting there and with God, my friends and your amazing talent that you share with us so freely well.. I'm going to be just fine!... I don't think I've ever thanked someone I've never met before that has helped me so much!! So..I guess a simple "Thank You" will have to do.
