Thanks for such a great video! Thanks to you, I can do rocking stitches. I am very grateful to you. I have one question for you. Why not put a thimble on your left finger? I'm very debating whether I should thimble my left finger.

I don't use a thimble on my left so I can feel the needle just as it goes through the quilt. It's just a slight touch and you get used to the needle point.

Thanks for the video. Something I feel was missing: Explanation of how to properly hoop the sandwich, with slack rather than taut. Beginners, embroiderers, cross-stitchers, and stab stitchers might not know that critical detail for being able to rock the needle in hand-quilting.

Thank you! I use a hera marker. It makes a slight crease in the fabric that lasts long enough to while you're quilting but eventually works its way out on its own.
