Thank ye for the breakdown on the portrait. Wonderful instructions. I uber-ruined my first mat by trying to cut some cardstock that was right about the right thickness first before going on to my sticker paper due to how grippy it was. Tried out a few things and found a neat tip that *might* help ya when you need a new mat. After you peel the protective blue sheet off, take a clean *DRY* cloth towel and just stick it down and pull it off a few times. It will cut that initial stickyness down ALOT and makes it super nice to use. Putting emphasis on the dry part as you absolutely *CAN* accidentally pull off the tacky layer. Take that from accidental first hand experience and needing 2 new mats instead of just one.

Ohhh good to know about the towel trick. I'll have to try that on my standard mat. If you didn't already know there are soft grip mats you can buy as well(ended up getting 2 for future cuts)

@@vulpipunk Hadn't come across the soft grip mats yet. Gonna look into those next time I pick em up.

@@RasielDraconis yes! They are a little less sticky and is gentler with paper. The circuits have a mat like that as well. Excited to try some cuts with it!

Yes! I don't understand why they save that info until later.

I love my portrait. Can take it to work or crops. Don't let it being light fool you. It's mighty. Does alot for its size.

As someone just starting a sticker buisness, this was really helpful! It's good to know there are affordable (and efficient) ways to make stickers at home :D

That's great! Glad this video can help!! If you are looking for another production option for stickers. Try seeing if any companies in your local area make stickers. That could be an "affordable" option as well( depend on the company of course for pricing)

You literally saved my life with this video! Thank you so much!! I have a cameo but I never knew how to decrease the size of the registration marks! Just thinking of how much paper and space has gone unutilized for nothing!🥲Bless you! 🙆♀🙇♀💖
