Wow! There are so many excellent tips here! I'm glad you shared a bunch of different artist displays and their socials too. There are so many different ways to setup a display. I understand what you mean by sometimes things can get overwhelming too and to break things up. This was a very helpful video! ^___^

The issue with enamel pins as well isn't so much the cost per item, as acrylic charms cost almost the same per item to get manufactured. The issue comes with the minimum order quantity. I don't think I've researched a single manufacturer that has a MOQ less than 100, so you HAVE to order 100 at least to get any. I'd be curious how acrylic pins are doing, though. Those have a much lower MOQ and you can use as many colors as you like.

That’s a really good point to split up product on your table to make eye navigation easier. If you’re overloading a person with a billion designs cramped all together, people who have sensory overload and other processing stuff will probably get deterred from trying to look through your stock. Those artists with tons of stock may benefit from having a catalog for customers to look at off to the side or leave out items with minor variations and relegate those to a catalog or signage.

Although the Netherlands has so many rules but this is 1 benefit the conventions has you don't need to register as a business and you don't need an insurance. Just need to put your extra income in the next taxes year.

Unpopular opinions but when the drawing has way to bright colours like am I looking at a drawing or a pack of markers that I got for 5 dollars and when the drawing as zero Color I get if it’s in black or white zero colour looks great in most scenarios but when you have a bunch of characters and then one that’s just so colour less that is like it was just placed in. Also when there is to much going on like there’s so much I can’t even see the character or the opposite when the character is just hair shirt pants and shoes thank you for reading I hope you relate to some of these

Like, showing a new TWIST, a new interpretation of the characters or something cool you or other people wanna see from the shows. (Another example, i was a HUGE fan of Jack-a-Lynne, a deviantart artist who's made pokémon and gravity falls comics; they tried to replicate pokémon's style but they've kept their colorful paintings and OMG HOW MUCH I'VE ATE THAT SH UP) Anyways, i just felt a litte iffy with the last part of this topic; i get what you meant, don't get me wrong, sadly i know a LOT OF PPL in the art community can't be very unreasonable, like they don't wanna hear what they don't like; saying "did they actually drawn it? Bc of the style i could think they've traced it" might sound a little... to others. If it looks like the original, then id say theres gotta be smth in the posing or whats happening that wasnt just clipped from the og,, then im chill with it,,, if it just looks exactly like the og tho,, then it feels closer tojust getting merch,, if that makes sense

Honestly I like when its close to the original. I recently purchased keychains from a show i liked and thes are mainly drawn in the art style of the show but you can see a bit of the artists extra style in it. I really like that because to me that kind feels true to the original but also you can see the artists own style in it. Not saying that your own art style is bad at all. I adore that too! But i just like original artstyles better
