We don't have that "ah she's a filipina" moment if you're a foreigner, ppl outside Philippines can only assume one image, and that is the feature of every south east asians, but in fact, naturally, filipinos has very diverse features.

These celebrity didn't really considered full filipino they're not descendant from colonizers back in Spanish colonial! They're in fact mixed filipinos because filipinos are more open to any racial relationship compared to EA, generally in SEA! And if you're talking about filipino diversity, mixed filipino isn't consider to that diversity! Because austronesian roots itself are so diverse we almost have a hundred different ethnic groups from austronesian ethnoliguistic group! Mixed people are just well represented in our toxic ass yt supremacist entertainment media, that's why those "pure filipino" mostly labeled as ugly and cheap! And if you're talking about specific features of real filipinos I'll give you some example (austronesian features) flatted nose, tanned skin, natural thick lips, most SEA people had eyelid compared to EA people, and an average height! Celebrities like, Kathryn bernardo, Gabbi Garcia, Janine Tugonon, Rita (Badjao girl), Nadine Lustre and Rochelle Panginiban are the embodiment of real native filipino! While on the other side there are Chinese-filipino (like kim chiu, David licauco) , Spanish decent filipino (like, Gloria Romero, the barrettos and guitierez family) and lastly, the generation of mixed filipino people are those who's having interacial relationship which is common here (like Liza soberano, Wil dasovitch, Edward barber, and etc). It's not even hard to tell their differences 💀
