That's Arnis right there. Philippines' national sport and martial art. The stick is usually used to train, can be used for self defense as well, and can later be swapped to bladed weapons. One of the deadliest martial arts that can be used in the modern day. A lot of Hollywood movies and even the US Army employ Arnis/Eskrima martial arts.

Jenelyn Mercado was my neighbor in Caloocan City our house is 4 streets away form their home , my age is 8 years ahead from her , their house before is along the side of Philippine National Railways in Caloocan. She was a victim of torture by his step father when she was a kid and it was televised on TV NEWS AND RADIO STATIONS in the year around 1989 or 1990 , then after that incident a TV HOST BOY ABUNDA adopted Jenelyn Mercado , our neighbors tell that her father was a Japanese 🙏🏻😊 That sport is called ARNIS , it was a skills from the time of Lapu-Lapu the Hero from Mactan On 15th century 😊👌🏻
