Concerto Grosso = Handel. I forgot what a PHENOMENAL work this is. I could listen to it 50 times over (and probably will). Voila Handel!!

The Concerti Grossi op 6 are the peak of the genre. Händel incorporated the full range of his compositional styles into the movements, including trio sonatas, opera arias, French overtures, Italian symphonies, airs, fugues, themes and variations, and a variety of dances. They are among the best examples of the concerto grosso baroque genre.

Handel has so many great works that it's highly subjunctive as to which is best. I prefer Queen Mary's funeral music and Alleluia.
