Excellent ! To those who are criticising the acoustics of the church, it is worth bearing in mind that this is the old parish church of a small Lancashire Mill Town and, as such, is smaller than the large cathedrals you might usually hear this played in with a consequently much shorter reverberation time. I feel that this actually benefits the performance as it makes it easier to appreciate each individual note clearly. How many other small towns can be proud of such a magnificent instrument set in a twelfth-century church ?

In England? Dozens, it seems. :) (But I take your point. I don't hear the problems other commenters are coming up with, anyway. Maybe I just have a tin ear, but it sounds great to me.)

What i like about your playing, is that you always expose the RIGHT tempo!! And your courage to play this on a not very outstanding organ, lacking acoustics. The way you treat these circumstances, is véry satisfactory! You are a great Maëstro!!!

When I was a high school band geek, we used to play a concert-band arrangement of this piece. It was the most internally popular piece in the band's repertoire--the one everyone in the band looked forward to rehearsing, and would call out for another go-round whenever the director left it up to us what we'd do next. As a result, it was by far the most _polished_ piece we knew how to play, just ahead of the school song. We didn't sound anywhere near this good, of course, but I retain a sentimental attachment to the piece to this day. :)

One of the most renowned and well known compositions by one of the greatest musical geniuses of all time. Dr. Handel composed the Water Music Suites in the summer of 1714 and introduced them to the world the following year during a riverboat concert played for England’s German-born monarch King George the third.

The building you see dates from 1412 and was built using parts of an earlier Norman church on the site. The wooden top to the tower is original as well bering typical of churches in that area. Yes it needs some attention I agree but don't be too critical of what is a remarkable survivor.
