My cockatiel is 1.5 months now ..he eats 4 times in a day 15 ml (hand feeding formula)is this right or wrong??ND it's summer time here so should I give him bath or not?

you should bath it daily regardless of summer time

that's very good but by time try and reduce baby formula and introduce baby to millets this is more softer then introducing the baby to seeds. as far as giving baby cockatiels a bath you should be careful as they are prone to catching a cold fast even though it may be hot babies should not be given a bath daily as they can get sick. please takecare of the baby and would like to hear updates on how he/she grows.

so I have 2 of those lovely cockatiels they one is about a month old and the other one is three weeks old. i feed them 3 times a day every 8 hours and I am using the same formula as you are using. when do I reduce their feeding time for them to start eating on their own? I have tons of questions since this is my 1st time to own cockatiels pls need your help.

So at this stage as you feeding now is good you will start reducing the time amount when they reach 1 month 3 weeks to just once a day feeding making sure the formula you making is at the correct consistency not watery it must be a thick enough formula to digest. Now with the 3 weeks old the timing of the feed tome os good but i used to feed my 3 week old cockatiel 4 times a day once on the morning at 7am then at 12pm and then 5pm and the last feed at night 11pm but you doing a great job im sure. So reducing the time in feeding them will be 1 month and 3 weeks making sure just 5ml syringe is enough for them. Because at 1 month 2 weeks you are introducing them to mallets and seeds setting your cage up before they turn 1 month and 2 weeks old. Hope this helps 🙏

Hi, Thank you for your question. I will try my best to answer your questions as clearly as possible. You can start at any time to feed baby cockatiels if you hand rearing them as once they hatch you have to mot feed them for 8 to 12 hours after this time you can feed them if you feel the parents are not feeding their chick i would suggest to remove the baby and hand feed, yes you can as long as you aware of how to prepare the formula and in the direction specified. there could be a reason for him biting you and if you train him well he wont bite so maybe see and monitor why his biting. Cockatiels are very sensitive birds so the smallest of things can put them off or make them behave badly. sorry for late reply my KZbin was not working and had to restart a new channel.

Hi, Brothers account 1st of all I'm very sorry to hear about your loss but you will need to keep trying patients is important cockatiels are a king of bird that you will need to be patient with take your time keep trying or else i fear you will loss your baby cockatiel the formula i use is Nutribird A21 you can purchase that on Amazon i felt i have the same issue at first so i changed the formula and it worked wonders if you still have an issue please feel to message me and we can see what will work best for your cockatiel babies.

We have to handfeed them for 3 month?? And mine won't eat what should I do it dosnt look sick but more scared I'm not sure of what I have to do Also when I can wash them theyer kinda dirty I'm scared they might get sick
