Hi, I got in today the Handing Magic Soul, 6'4" L. You're right that it does seem stiffer for a light rod. I can compare it to the new Shimano Curado 6'8" Light casting rod. The Curado is rated for 1/8-3/8oz lure weights. The Magic Soul tip action is very similar to the Curado.

Thanks for the vid, I went ahead and ordered the same rod that you have. I already have the Handing Miracle and it's a very good, sensitive casting rod. I'm hoping the Magic Soul will be similar but a lighter action.

It is tighter action then miracle. I think you will like it though. I use for small jigs and texas rigs. I use miracle for cranks and jerkbaits.

The looks seem like they are inspired by the purelure zero which is also fast.its also a green monocoque with cork grip.

Handing probably makes it for them. not sold on that Purelure stuff. This rod really is stunning.
