I love when people accept more food. When I was homeless, I was afraid to ask. I was afraid to accept. When I wasn't homeless, I met someone just like me. He was obviously homeless, but didn't say a word to me. I asked him if he needed money and he started crying uncontrollably. It was such a heartbreaking experience. 💔 I did not have much on me that day, but I gave him what I had and I think about him all the time. I hope he is OK.

When i was working from my (now former) first job at Burger King, i bussed there beginning of the day and back home at the end, on my bus trips i met a wholesome homeless man who sadly was struggling in life, he was carrying 2 duffle bags to wherever he slept each day so one day i asked to help him carry them both, i was only going home and had some time to spare but i knew deep down it was worth doing. Sadly the truth is that he was sleeping in an ATM (thank you to the bank people for letting him be there instead of outside in the cold weather) and i unfortunately didnt have money on me to spare, i havent been on the busses in a while and i wonder how he has been since. Nobody should be homeless in my eyes and i can only do so much. I wish i coulda done something more. 😢❤

The definition of homelessness is that you do not own a home. We have been conditioned to think of that as crack heads on the street tweaking but alot of middle class citizens are also homeless, the definition of poverty is making less than 19k a year. Thats a huge envelope when the top 1% of richest people have 50% of the money supply. There is a huge gap that exists now. There are people who work 40 hours a week and make less than 19k a year. Literally surviving.

​​@@710tommy i understand you point and i do agree with it in most cases regarding youtubers and their charity which is done for likes, but in this case hes using his own money and just handing out food that is desperately needed. I think in the case of this channel he is really genuinely doing this to help people, but even if it was purely a selfish motivation, it doesnt change the fact that he helped people who greatly needed help. You can see how greatful those people are in his videos. Homeless people get ignored as if they dont even exist by most of society and they are even looked at with disgust and abused by some, and then here comes a man who does something nice for a random person the rest of the world ignores. Regardless of the motovation it is still commendable because he is helping his fellow humanbeings who need it and asking nothing from them in return. When you have nothing and no one and someone you dont even know shows you compassion and feeds you that means alot. At the end of the day our opinions dont mean a damn, they wont fill a hungry mans belly but his actions do just that and they bring a bit of sunshine into a very very hard life. Its easy to critisize but have you ever devoted your hardearned money to spend a day in the city feeding the homeless? If you have great, we need more people who do and we need to spend less time talking bad about the ones who do because they are too few.

Well the cost of the burritos (considering this guy's a business owner and makes a lot of food at a time) is probably $4-5 out of his pocket. So he really gave him maybe 40-50 worth of food out. Plus, you gotta understand not everybody has the following jimmy darts or other kindness content influencers has. This guys starting out, if he had 5 million followers and a good revenue stream he'd have the ability to give out a grand. But he's got a small enough following, it's not unlikely he's giving his money out of his own pocket, not just reallocating money given to him.
