@XionProductions5 жыл бұрын
I am about the same as you but so opposite. Been a fan for years, probably about 10 as well, but this was awful to me. I want the beautiful perfect ending. That's why I watch movies and such. Life is crappy, not always, but you know what I mean. I get enough crap in life that when I watch something I want the happy ending. You said that Wong Fu has gotten you through so many stages in life. Yet I feel like Wong Fu hasn't grown up at all. All their stuff is about dating, and failed relationships, etc. Crappy endings. They give no hope to the future. I'm married, I have kids, life is so much more than these videos they make. I say all this to show how different two perspectives can be. I've grown a little disenchanted honestly with Wong Fu. I was really hoping this short was going to be the one that had the happy ending for once, but no, it's the same old thing. I suppose these are for someone, you seem to enjoy them, but I think they are stuck in a rut and the tragedies are becoming predictable now. I'll still watch, if only to hold out hope that someday they will give me a happy ending. A heartwarming happy ending.

He brought the snow ;-; memories preserved-frozen, but not cold Kinda didnt like this short at first. thought it was a bit stiff and another cheeky romance story with a predictable plot and happy ending, but they didnt give us the happy ending and instead left us with random snow. I ended up appreciating how wongfu captured the worth of remembering the specialness of that past moment in your life and being thankful and at peace in the present. It is sad to me that we share intimate moments with people and end up moving on... teaches me to guard my heart not out of fear, but a love for myself and others, out of a hope for my heart to be warmed in the right season. All in all, this short was very real and unexpectedly touching at the end. Thanks wongfu for handling a real-life circumstance through the lens of irony, random elf bringing random snow. It's important to recognize those we've moved on from have unexpectedly touched us, changed us, left deep or even brief impressions upon our lives that we can choose to let affect us negatively or positively. I choose to appreciate as much snow in my life as I can. What will you choose? I hope we can all find peace and contentment when we look back on the snow that's fallen and when the unexpected winds blow again in and into our lives now and for the future. side notes: loved chris dinh being back in wongfu creations ;-; and grrr you opened up a whole realm of possibility for the elf backstory but didnt explain it much at all >< I get that's not the focus, but it felt weird the lady character and the audience isn't invited to think much of or feel for the guy's story much at all. It's just about oh maybe can we long distance? nah. your life. my life. different. and that's ok. snow. T-T message conveyed but unbalanced feel. AND ID CHOOSE PETER OVER MIKE BOW ANY DAY. ok done. peter acted very well though. very in touch with his sentimental side
