Handle your kits

I wish my former housemate had done this! Unfortunately, she got 3 ferrets very young and didn’t handle them whatsoever 😔 8 years later and I still have a couple of scars on my ankles from the bites! She moved out without any notice and actually left the ferrets behind without a thought! She just left them in filth with a pile of old meat to eat 😢 Luckily, I eventually found a great home for them where the owner lets them play together out in the open with other rescue ferrets ❤ (Separated by gender and in appropriate groupings of course) I went from knowing nothing about ferrets to trying to learn everything I could to care for them!

probably the most important advice you can give anyone to be honest, also on how to actually handle them! one of the best ferrets i had was given to me by a bad handler who said she bit him all the time, he gave her and the cage to me and i was never bitten at all, not once! she was actually stolen from my garden after getting a reputation as being a good ferret by some guys who felt it later on but thats another story! i was only 15 when that ferret was nicked and i was absolutely gutted, like i say though i got older and they had their payback lol, damn doug i get to tell some history on here lol

Spikes the best type of ferret that you’ve got there Doug I don’t know how he works but he’s got it he’s got long legs slim long body and pointy face you need to breed him near and far

That pink eye doe kit is lovely mate whats the chances of jess and grace throwing a pink eye

Grace usually has at least 1 pink eyed whenever she has been bred ,Jess had none last year all bew and polecats

So you like the pink eyes to there’s not as many around as there was years ago The white make some easier to find in the bush and pink eyes being light sensitive a lot slower out in the open but believe me they can see just as good in the dark if not better just make some easier to handle and track
