**To make them stick** tightly wrap a flat shoelace around the grip in even spaced complete coverage, tie it off, wrap it in a heating blanket on high, after a cycle pull it out to cool and unwind it. It'll stay forever, never had a lift yet.

That’s brilliant. I will be doing that on my next application. Thank you.

You were correct. Absolutely brilliant and I appreciate the suggestion. Did this to my guns with grip tape and it works perfectly

I used rubber bands and a blow dryer on high setting for about 10 minutes. Gun survived 200 rounds so far, thanks

Great overview Bill. Thanks... Hey try out their hybrid series grips. It is a combination of rubber and sand pieces. The rubber is cut for the majority of the frame and the sandpaper pieces are cut for the back strap and palm swells on the grip. I have it on all my carry handguns and I carry aiwb... Perfect stuff for me. Thanks again stay safe God Bless ✌️🇺🇲

I just picked one up for my new Glock I thought it was going to be cheap gimmick crap but im pleasantly surprised. Try the one that's gritty rubber that's what I use for my EDC. No rubbing and it still feels great in hand.

I do like that one too. Check out my newest videos on installing it with a heating pad. It will help keep it from loosing adhesion when it gets hot and wet

Edge grips are great I like it the most
@billdrill22 Жыл бұрын
They really are. Like more aggressive but those really are the best if you want something not too aggressive but still textured

You should silicone carbide the stippling that’s not grippy enough for you since the grips don’t stick! It will give you that sand paper feel you like!! Thanks for your video

If it's applied correctly per instructions included it does not come loose. I've had it on my handguns for 2+years with no wearing off or coming loose from grip...
@centenntrucker84967 ай бұрын
So is the extreme more course then sand paper? I wouldn't think it would be.
@billdrill227 ай бұрын
It might actually be. It’s a little different coarse from the granulate. It’s hard to explain how it’s different but it’s pretty “extreme”

How about the elite textute they have an option for? But no description
@billdrill228 ай бұрын
I found a description right here. www.handleitgrips.com/product-page/handleitgrips-elite-series-gun-grip-enhancement-kit I liked the elite personally. Good for ccw.

I can see that being beneficial. Great point. I do have an issue keeping a full purchase on compact pistols so I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Thank you

I just got the extreme, is it a combination of sandpaper and rubber? Thanks.
@billdrill22Ай бұрын
I’m not exactly sure, but it definitely is the most aggressive texturing imo. It will catch clothing too
@usernameloading...-fj6vvАй бұрын
I bought it for my edc, it catches clothing too much for edc? Appendix? Thanks for replying btw.
@billdrill22Ай бұрын
You’re welcome. It probably won’t affect your clothing unless you wear dryfit. But yes, it will catch some clothing. I carried aiwb with it and it wasn’t too bad

I bought the edge series for my m&p 2.0 and I realize that it slips off my hand MORE. I’m not sure why it feels slippery

I know exactly what you mean. Have you tried setting it a little? Also, I use chalk and that helps.

You don't carry any rubbers, eh? 😂 good reviews and comparison. Thanks for the good job
@billdrill227 ай бұрын
People actually carry rubbers? What’s this world coming to. Thank you.
@TheyCallMeLIT676 Жыл бұрын
What holsters do you use that fit good with the tape?
@billdrill22 Жыл бұрын
I usually use the tenicor malus sol but the tape won’t affect figment because the tape is on the frame of the gun and the holster holds the slide.

I just think Talon grips has the better grip between the two.
@billdrill225 ай бұрын
I agree if you’re referring to the granulate. Cool thing about handle it grips is they have so many options. They have more aggressive and less aggressive and their handgun selection is massive.
@a.d.c79415 ай бұрын
You think talons granulate is better?
@billdrill225 ай бұрын
@@a.d.c7941yes, well, I like talon better because of the single piece design. I should have probably said that first. I prefer their granulate because of the single piece design.

I see. Yes that one piece design is very a very nice detail. Thank you for the replies!!

A heat gun runs to hot and drys the glue out fast, better to stick with a hair dryer.

Talon grips have been around for years and are way better than these pop up garbage grips. Talon pro grip will blow these copy cats out of the water.hands it grips are straight trash put the back in the trash and go buy real grips like talon.
@billdrill227 ай бұрын
Ehhh, I do like Talon, but Handleit isn’t “trash” imo. They make a great grip. Have you tried them? Also, Talon doesn’t make a grip for near the number of guns Handle it does.
@RJ-fe6ug4 ай бұрын
I have both. Talon is ass compared to handle it. I’ve never had handle its peel up, but my talons have.
@billdrill224 ай бұрын
Both brands have peeled for me, but one of my viewers showed me an awesome way to apply them so they don’t peel. I’ll do a video asap on it so you can see. It amazing and works great.
