A lot of prayer, I try my best to pray for the Lord to bless those who are behaving toxically and work in their hearts and in mine too, not forgetting I’m sure I get on others nerves too and to help me work on that. It’s not easy and I can’t claim I always remember in the moment, I heard a priest say once something about asking to see the people as the Lord sees them so I try to do that too, show me how to love them as you do Lord. Love the breaks, boundaries and barriers. And saying no without guilt. It’s taken me a long time to be able to say no, but as our Lord says, let your yes mean yes and your no mean no.
