its so hard in the work-world when people dont know Christ and arent trying to live like he asked us.

A lot of prayer, I try my best to pray for the Lord to bless those who are behaving toxically and work in their hearts and in mine too, not forgetting I’m sure I get on others nerves too and to help me work on that. It’s not easy and I can’t claim I always remember in the moment, I heard a priest say once something about asking to see the people as the Lord sees them so I try to do that too, show me how to love them as you do Lord. Love the breaks, boundaries and barriers. And saying no without guilt. It’s taken me a long time to be able to say no, but as our Lord says, let your yes mean yes and your no mean no. Truth and knowing the truth is how to avoid toxic relationships and knowing who you truly are serving and last I look it’s a lot of hating instead the first principle. Which is love and love is the truth

The summary of why it's important to have friendships outside of your wife at 21:00 is spot on. A sign of a toxic person is one that cannot handle others taking your time (within reason).
