Your pack frames are beautiful Vahid. I am going to try making one for myself. I previously made one inspired by Otzi but it was not even slightly comfortable. and hello from Australia :-)

Hi Vahid. Another great build. Beatifull work. We have a national treasure over here. He's called Roy Underhill. You've probably heard of him but if not his show is on youtube now. The woodwrights shop. He inspired me in everthing I've done in the last 40 years. Check him out. If you've never seen him you're in for a treat. I'm pretty sure the show is still produced. Must be 50 years now.

@@VahidCullsberg You won't regret it. You remind me of him in that you are not afraid to work hard with your hands to make something beautiful. His knowledge of primitive but elegant skills has always served me well. My wife even enjoyed his show , back- in -the- day. He'd be sawing , out of breath , bleeding and obviously truly enjoying himself , lol.

@@VahidCullsberg Cool. The guy has a huge range of topics to. I saw a episode years ago on how bricks were made , chinking log cabins, stone masonry, timberframing ( that's one of my trades).

Amazing! Its like across between a Stokke kids chair and an inuit kayak or umiak! Ikea could build those, with little locating pins, barrel nuts and allen bolts to fasten the struts together. Maybe if you used wet rawhide (same as is used for snow shoes) to stitch the struts and let it shrink dry you wouldnt need the leather covers? Nice job though. How does it hold up under regular hard use?

Hi, thanks. I've thought of using other ways to fasten them. The reason I used the leather is that my original design is possible to dismantle and built back into a camera tripod. But for the permanent frames, leather is not really needed. But I do like the look and feel of it. The frame is extremely sturdy, flexes with your movements and doesn't restrict your sense of athletism when hiking carrying heavy loads in rugged terrain. Yes it can carry very heavy loads 👍 It's actually overdimensioned in terms of load capacity. I'm thinking to build the next one much lighter. Thanks for watching...don't know what I think of the ikea comparison though 😅

Hi, are three available for purchase? If not, could you make an exception, lol. I'm really interested, I'm fully aware of the value for something hand crafted.

@@VahidCullsberg I'm interested. Have an interest in external frame packs for use. Really like the tripod variation with it breaking down. I'm a hunter and being able to take the pack apart for flights to Alaska would be useful.

I appreciate that. It's just unfortunate that I don't have all the materials, or not enough of it, to build it. Can I get back to you when I do, if you at that time still would like one?
