Fun fact. Archaeologist have found that the old norse people did use a lot of primitive glues in their woodwork. So using glue is historical accurate.

Awesome way to mount the shoulder straps. Most builds just use a wrap around knot.

People forgot about the old adze, it was used to carve into logs to make planks for the floors as ancient farmhouses were built on lumber resting on a stone foundation and the earth could rot the wood so it had to rest on a rock bed of float as a deck. I'm sure this rucksack would float if you dropped it on a canoe trip. Great axeman-ship and leather craft. 🏕
