No need to do all this. only take out the side rubber Plug & insert a rubber or pu tube to it than connect to the bottom of a bottle that fill with hydrolic oil. The Jack will always full with oil than can Work on any position.😊

The copper pipe added , works at the lowest point when in operation. Plus one is never going to operate the jack with no oil. So the concern added won't be a issue. The only thing I would consider is using a slightly oversized inner hole diamater aluminum or copper washer on the oil plug bolt, that the o ring seal he added will locate internally in for a better seal on the vertical modification one 🙂

Will the other holes/inlets that are not piped suck air if the oil level drops to low, or in the case of upside down all the time?

Yr doubt is genuine In both positions air will go in and won't function properly

It will work horizonslly if you just have the pump on the underside while pumping i do it all the time with chain to straighten out something that's bent

my mitsubishi jack is masada and it works verticaly only at upright position!
