Interesting master. At 07.20. Why insert all the plastic ring, have an excess which peaks 5 centimeters. Another way: first insert the plastic ring around 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees. Then insert the rest, each quarter of the ring.

Since when does criticism instantly mean that the person giving it is stupid? If you can't accept criticism, in this case on SOMEONE ELSES BEHALF, when something is done horribly wrong... YOU are the unwise one. There are many, at this point in human development, quite obvious flaws (that are extremely basic knowledge for anyone that knows anything) in the way this man went about his shoddy repair. I would accept this kind of a repair were the thing he was repairing NOT potentially holding up to 30 tons over top of someone, or their toes.
@adulhoontrakul76172 ай бұрын
@@derekspringer6448 ok well said but l should have added that constructive criticism is good but some are based on ignorance and racism just because of the Pakistan if you know what l mean
@derekspringer64482 ай бұрын
@@adulhoontrakul7617 With this added context I would certainly agree. That would be completely uncalled for, unnecessary and, while we're throwing out "un" words, unintelligent, on so many different levels... It's only because your original comment wasn't quite worded that way that I wanted to add my two cents and say that the repair *was* FAR from perfect, and done on equipment that imperfect is not really what you want. Now, I'm certain that MOST of those jacks will work perfectly fine, and serve whoever well for years to come. It's only the fact that it only takes a single one failing throughout his time repairing them to leave someone seriously injured, or perhaps even worse, that this becomes a bit unacceptable to me. That being said, I think he's doing the best he can with what he's got. I specifically liked that he knew his repair could possibly be inadequate, and so added an extra layer of protection in the two part epoxy that he used to seal around the top of the jack. At least with that part likely not failing, any failure of the jack would likely be a slower leak, giving one time to notice and quickly exit the dangerous work area before anything bad was to happen. I would think anyway, the fact I am unsure still has me on the side of a more standard repair, with the correct tools available, being preferable despite his extra step to ensure safe functioning of the tool (a repair that he would be 100% qualified to do, granted access to said "correct tools," the guy knows his way around them jacks). Edit: This was a bit long-winded, my apologies.

I guarantee that center tube he moosed out of the jack base with the pipe wrench wrecked the inner circle of the pipe where the jack ram runs. The pipe wrench teeth marks on the outside of the tube aren’t hurting anything, but i guarantee in inner ID of that tube aint round any longer, the seal will never last or be safe with the pipe egg shaped from the pipe wrench
