I have worked as a mason for 20 years. Most DIY videos are pretty bad when it comes to masonry as most people do not know what they are doing nor do they take time to really pay attention to detail. However, you did a really good job on this project. You clearly took time to make it look right and build it well. Especially considering the size of this project. Amazing work.

Although I think it's risky to sleep with the head against a glued brick wall. Hopefully nothing will fall onto the head causing serious injury and death.

@@AK-tx1vg Thin veneer manufacturers actually list construction adhesive in their installation guidelines for use with thin brick. This will be fine.

Adam, we all appreciate your input with your experience in masonry. This brick was applied to a fresh sheet rock. Would anything need to be changed if it was being a applied to existing painted wall, or over wallpaper? Thanks

I am looking at using these types of brick for a back splash in my kitchen, you explained the process to where a child could understand and that helps alot, most videos I have watched they only glaze over the process. You should be proud of your work. Looks great.

Wow thanks to your video, I'm gonna be saving $4320 on a quote to have my brick wall grouted. Its 144 square feet approximately and I already put up all the brick. Attempted to grout it with terrible results so I stopped at 1/4 the wall. Then the nasty quote...found you and how you mixed your batches small....gonna give it another shake 😃

Oh and all you gotta do With the grout bag is get one pail of water dump the whole thing in it fill the bag and shake the bag as it drains it’ll be all cleaned out and ready to be filled again you just don’t get under open it up it fills up with water and shake it And a grabs all the dried stuff all along the side part out and fill it up go so much quicker and you can use the same bucket for the whole project

I just did the grouting part yesterday. I would highly suggest to start from the top down cause as your arms get tired you will be thankful you are work when you don't have to raise your arms than if you are working from the bottom. I hope it makes sense. Today, every inch of my body hurts 🤣 but oh so worth it!
