Thanks, the Handpresso Auto seems to produce an equally good espresso, I think the basket and portafilter are identical to the manual Handpresso, so theoretically my setup for the manual one should transition nicely :)

At a local Barista competition the winner said if an espresso was almost too hot to hold then you are burning the coffee beans...

This is just one more reason I don't have a dog. You are using good illy coffee. I use the basket at home, but for simplicity, in the car, I will using illy pods. Thank you for a good review.

That's one of the problems with manual espresso maker. It doesn't heat the water by itself. This machine is nice! 😊

Theres a newer version as well with some improvements to the design, I reviewed it a while back, it's a cool product if you do a lot of car trips. I've found that the other manual portable espresso machines work well if you can bring along a good quality thermus flask that can keep the water hot for long enough.

I mistakenly bought the handpresso that only takes the ese pods, do you think the yellow ring, basket and taller portafilter for the auto will fit the handpresso so i can use my own grinds?

jdinky3 If you've got the Handresso Auto E.S.E version, they sell an adapter it's called the "handpresso-auto-ground-coffee-kit" search that up on Google, hope that helps

Hi Tony, I took my 2-in1 Handpresso and added the E.S.E adapter, which I assume would leave the same available space as the E.S.E only version, then I got the portafilter from the Handpresso Auto (for the basket) and it didn't fit at all. So I'd say it's a no.

Is actually pro to integrate the furfect soul to take part as makes your videos more likeble ....but need to be nicer to the dog lie would be to a 4-5yr child ...don't push him away he's just curious and has better enrgy...if you tie him up make sure you have a harness not a silly collar-leash invented by sadomasochists. I pref wacaco presso for outdoor, it' s brilliant ☕️

Not portable, always has to have a car close. Very expensive too. There are many cheaper alternatives that have a lithium battery.
