cool review , but I think the pressure that they say 18 bar is not at extraction time ,its a commerical thing, because technically 18 bar is nearly impossible for fingers also for hand its impossible (every one can test it with a simple small 10ml syrnge, just try to push the syrnge to 0,5ml(not 5 ml ) ,with wacaco , as you try you can feel easily "the water drops exact the same volume as in the pump piston when user press to pump, normally for 18 bar pressure the user have to add 18 times the volume air for 1 volume at 18 bar, and it means that you must pump average 90 times for smallshot with very hard effort.I think its a commerical thing, device can resist maximum 18 bar air in the water tank or in the piston. but only for maximum resistance , not for extract the coffee in 18 bar or 9 bar, this device look cool but really confuses me for making espresso in true pressure.ı try with measuring the outer pressure from basket , after around 7-8 bars you can not add any air to the system with fingers you must use full hand and chest for pressing pump. any one tried to measure the pressure ?

I am purchasing my 3rd Doss soundbox XL. Why? The first soundbox I purchased still works great, but it doesn't have TWS. I believe that's the one you're reviewing. Let me tell you what! I now have two soundbox XLs. The sound in True Wireless Stereo on the Doss soundbox is incredible! If your viewers go to purchase a soundbox in 2024 make sure you ae not purchasing the older version as it doesn't have TWS.

Help!! My shot is sour and slightly watery. The puck is slightly wet and comes out broken and not in 1 dry puck. There is also some water on top of the top of main body below the basket. Anyone has experience with this and can help?

Hello great video. Self eval. Is fine , the fact that you are outside shooting makes the mistakes and non optimal lighting acceptable and the bugs just add an element of real world . All I expect when evaluations are being done outside is 1) no ridiculous close forehead and chin shots.2) using two hands when trying a product(camera stand of some kind ) 3) decent, not perfect audio. Thanks. And you nailed it

Hi mate great video as usual. just want to pick your brains with a quick question. 1zpresso K Ultra or Wacaco hand grinder, what would you pick ? Obviously the 1zpresso is double the price but is it worth the price ?

This is too hard for me... I've been using the Crushgrind for several weeks now, and it keeps being very hard to grind coffee because it requires a lot of strength. I'm giving up, and I don't understand why I feel like I'm the only one to have this problem...
@GadgetViper
@GadgetViper 8 ай бұрын
It does depend on how fine or course the setting is as to how hard it is to grind, but yes you are correct, the crush grind certainly favours speed over torque. It's faster to grind, but most definitely harder than others.

4:30 - It is possible to make a similar stove without purchasing a carbon felt mat. Take a soda can, cut horizontal strips with the same height as the outer can, make vertical grooves in this strip, spaced 10-20mm or 1/2", resulting in something like this: ~~~~~~~ Wrap this strip over the bottom of the inner can, using as many strips as needed to hold the two cans together. The grooves create capillarity between the cans, working like a wick and vaporizing the alcohol like the Carbon Felt, if not better, as aluminum conduce heat better.

Bought the crushgrind and put it to the test. The smell when I opened it after grinding was superb! And the taste was so rich! I owned this Haro before but was never really pleased with it for the same reasons here explained. So I switched to grounded coffee (Lavazza) for a while. Years actually. Wanted to go back to grinding beans again so I started looking for one of those expensive electric grinders as I was afraid that a hand grinder would fail me again. But luckily I came across this video which saved me lots of money. Big thanks!

Thanks, it was a labour of love, but totally worth the effort. It's small and light enough to take on Hikes with mates even if it's not needed. But when the weather turns, I can string it up we can all keep dry for the evening

I’m thinking of buying this to use when I go hiking with my dog. Could you fill the device with hot water before you set out so you wouldn’t have to take a flask of hot water or boil water when you’re out?

If you make the inner piece shorter the stove will be more fuel efficient.
@Sokol10
@Sokol10 8 ай бұрын
Yes - like the ones he show at start of the video; but whit the pot close the boil time will be longer. Several tests show the ideal height for the flame of an alcohol stove is around a 1" (25mm)
@MatoNupai
@MatoNupai 8 ай бұрын
@@Sokol10 WRONG. 1inch is entirely arbitrary. I inch may give you the fastest boil but a real thru hiker wants fuel efficiency and a reasonably fast boil. Remember the taller the flame burns more fuel. You can use a MiniBull Design BIOS STOVE that uses 30 ml of Heet to boil 2 cups in 5 minutes You can use a MiniBull Design ELITE STOVE that uses HALF of the of the BIOS You can use the FLAT CAT STOVE by Flat Cat Gear that only uses 43% of the fuel used by the BIOS STOVE. Take a look at the Flat Cat stove you will see the jets are only 5-6 millimeters from the top. My Ultimate stove has jets only 5 millimeters from The top and was efficient as THE FLAT CAT STOVE My MAHALO STOVE had jets only 8 millimeters used less than the BIOS STOVE Another stove that is in the same category of my Ultimate Stove, and the Flat Cat Stove is the Gram Weenie stove designed by End2End Trails now built by Sam at Batch Stoves It's all comes down to the question "IS IT A FAIR TRADE TO TAKE 1 1/2-2 MINUTES LONGER FOR THE BOIL IF YOUR FUEL LASTS MORE THAN TWICE AS LONG?" MY answer is a RESOUNDING YES!" In 2017 I lived off grid near Taylor, Arizona and 1 gallon of denatured alcohol in my Ultimate lasted 6.5 MONTHS. I using that alcohol to make prepare 3 meals a day, coffee every morning, and occasionally coffee in the evening

I dropped enough hints and my girlfriend finally bought me the picopresso. I've rewatched this video a couple of times and again just now to make sure I know how to dial it in. I had my first espresso tonight and it was great. Used some locally roasted beans 👌 Hope you're doing well, and hoping wacaco bring out another product so you can do another video.

This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
