Meinst du denn das du mit einem alu Rahmen genug streifigkeit bekommst ? Ich hatte mal ein gegossenes alu Hand E-Wheel gesehen . Weis aber leider nicht wie gut es funktioniert.

Hallo, es gibt aluminium sorten stärker als stahl (7075 zum beispiel), ich werde eins bauen und es ausprobieren, zu sehen dann auf mein Kanal.... ; )

Once again really nice work. Would one made from 6061 have to much flex over that distance. Or will you make one from chrome Molly tube next?

Hi Paul, thanks for watching, my plan is to make the C-Clamp, out of Aluminum, the Rollers or the Wheels, will be made out of stainless steel tube. They will be machined on a latch, the bearings will be made out of plastic ; ) (www.igus.com/info/plastic-ball-bearings) hoping it alll will be light enough ; )

Hello Norbert, this is what I will need when I start the panels on my 63 Healey. I would prefer to make it out of aluminium. They also make the turnbuckles in aluminium. I have seen them with a small bent I beam instead of tubing. The Porsche is ready for sale I rebuilt the bottom end of the engine. It runs perfect. I am driving it right now. Cheers.

Hi Mike, sorry i was not that fast to anwer, the outside diam. from the tubing is 34 mm and the wall thickness is 3 mm. the overall length of the C-clamp is 730 mm, the short side is 580 mm. I will make one in aluminum with light wheels as well, so stay tuned..... ; )
