Oh! What a befitting title for today's reflection. Only words - Divine words that Jesus spoke with authority sufficed to expel the evil spirit from the possessed man. Jesus, You are The Holy, The All Powerful, The Almighty God, and even Satan recognized You and shook. Jesus, I join my prayers with the spirit filled prayer of Fr.Warner, and plead with you to cast out and free us from the grip of the evil one, who prowls to destroy our spiritual life. We belong to you Jesus. No evil power can conquer us when You are on our side. Let our prayer life be more and more meaningful. Mother Mary protect us, your children, under your sacred mantle from evil, danger and sin. Father, the prayer to St.Michael is a part of our daily night prayers. Thank you Father for your spirit filled prayer and blessing. God bless and protect you and your family.

Dear Fr Warner - your reflection today enabled us to understand the difference between Jesus' new teaching with authority & the self appointed religious teachers. In this gospel Jesus only used the power of His spoken word which was enough to cast out the unclean Spirit. Jesus wages a constant war against Satan. May Jesus rebuke the evil within us as Satan constantly uses his charm & beguiling ways to lead us away from Jesus. We ask for Mother Mary's protection by reciting the Rosary - a powerful weapon against the devil. St Michael pray for us. May Jesus' Precious Blood protect us always. God bless you Fr. 🙏 💕

Hello Fr. As usual JESUS went to the synagogue on sabbath to preach, just then a man with evil spirit came n knew who JESUS was, at once, JESUS ordered the evil spirit to come out, shook the man hard n came out, HOLY SPIRIT came upon the man, he felt so clean in mind n soul. Oh JESUS u have taught us the LORD'S prayer, keep us away from temptation n deliver us from evil. AMEN. Great indeed are your works O LORD. AMEN. God bless u your dad n fly. 🙏🕊️🕯️❤️.

Yes the tongue is a powerful weapon. A nun in ny school always reminded us ' in the multitude of words you will find sin". So we need to be careful and think before we speak. Ref.Eph.4:29

Most often people dismiss talk of the devil as nonsense but he is constantly prowling around and yes, we submit to him. God has given us a free will and we choose not to follow him so many times. Even the evil one recognised Jesus as the Holy One, the only one who has the power and authority to drive him out of our lives, if only we ask. I join my prayers with yours and ask God for his love and protection on myself, my family, my friends and all who believe in Him and even on those who don't. God bless you abundantly Fr. Warner!
