Hands Like Houses is one of those rare gems amongst other bands- EACH and EVERY one of their songs is unique, has inspiring and even moving lyrics, and all the musical work, being the drums, guitar, bass, synth, and vocals are all completely intentional. There are no "filler" notes or verses. It's all meaningful and I think that's what makes them so damned amazing. I just wish I knew how they stay this creative all the freaking time. It's almost superhuman.

I got the privilege of hearing Hands like Houses live down in Boston last night. It was incredible! It was an experience like never before and they got the crowd so involved. These guys are on my watchlist for sure!

Lynn Gunn helped write this song and it totally shows. Honestly I'm disappointed that she wasn't featured for vocals. Since HLH isn't on Rise anymore we'll probably never see that collab happen. ;-;
