Fun stuff! I think the chief has a lot of dihedral? so that really helps with stability. I have a little Murphy Biplane with flat wings. staying upright without the ailerons in any kind of gust ain’t happening. I think I could get it down without the elevator (just using trim) or even without the rudder until the wheels hit the ground. I’m really enjoying your videos.

Yeah, it does have some good dihedral, which certainly helps when flying with the rudder! 😂 I remember designing 3 channel (rudder, elevator, throttle) RC planes as a kid and a decent amount of dihedral was absolutely necessary for a plane without ailerons!
