It’s amazing how you can fly over the mountains with the 85 hp Chief! I know you’ve got to lighten up the load and lean your engine etc but it’s still remarkable. Enjoyed the trip and look forward to more of them thanks for taking us along. By the way I think you’re going to have a pilot on your hands with Peppa. It’s great that she likes to fly the plane!

Those clouds are a little to low and the hole too small to get down to that runway.

solid voiceover from the cockpit about where you are going and what your doing. Where are you sourcing the music?

what makes your plane a Super Chief ?
@trustyaeronaut16 күн бұрын
Ahhhh, for the pre-war Chiefs the deluxe 65hp ones got the “Super” (early Chiefs had 50hp). In post-war Chiefs, the deluxe 85hp variants were “Super”.

What cruise speed are you able to get in your C85 Super Chief?
@trustyaeronaut20 күн бұрын
Ahh, I have my profile in foreflight set at 84mph(73kt) cruise. I'm usually going a bit faster once I level off, usually around 92mph (80kt) but I haven't changed my profile since it usually predicts my arrival time pretty close!
