Honestly I was super hesitant that there wasn't a space grey this year but since I got it on launch day I like midnight better. It looks black so it's of course a lot darker than space grey. The pictures online make midnight look more blue than it really is.

I still miss space gray. With the series 7, they already had a blue watch. So adding a blue tint to their neutral colored seemed diabolical since now there is no dark neutral Apple Watch unless you get the black stainless steel version.

What watch band is that you have on at 4:10? I picked up the 45 mm S7 in midnight and have been going back and forth over the slight blue vs the space gray on the SE and 6, but it looks really good in your videos. Especially at 5:35, that midnight color makes the space gray look like a warm almost slightly pink-gray. Thanks!

Yo, I am trying to decide on a color and am really stuck between midnight and starlight. I wear lots of silver jewelry and was thinking starlight would look a little tacky since it isn’t really a true silver..? Maybe the contrast of the midnight would pop with the silver I tend to wear. I think a silver Milanese band would look sick with midnight. What do you think?

I appreciate the video because it did give me a better idea of the true color. Midnight isn’t a bad color BUT I don’t want it. I want silver or space gray. They are more neutral and go with just about anything. I don’t have the luxury of keeping multiple Apple watches to switch back and forth. For that reason, I think it was a mistake for Apple to make this color swap. I’m finally upgrading from my 3 and instead of the 7, I’ll probably go with the SE for color purposes.

My first Apple watch was a space black stainless with the link. The watch and band never was a great match as the watch was glossier. That Watch broke after a year and a half and from then on I went with space gray aluminum models. This midnight color is the best match I’ve seen with the space black link band. The grey was too light I also tried it with the titanium black and it didn’t look as good.

I just personally do not like any dark blue or navy color whatsoever. It is a black impersonator. I went with the titanium Watch Edition for Series 7 just to get a proper black.

What’s up Juan, I love your vids man. IMO I wish the midnight didn’t have a bluish hue to it. I wish Apple made the Space Gray color almost like the deep black colors from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus line. But the bigger 45mm display is super nice though.

@@harrietxo2310 UPDATE: I’ve looked at the Midnight in person a couple months ago and to me it looks almost straight black to my eyes. I do think the Midnight color in Juan’s video looks different in comparison to my in-person visuals. I’ve absolutely changed my mind on the bluish hue in the past but it does have a 1% blue hue. I really like this color.
