Hands On Color Theory in Art Class!

Welcome back to art class! After a review of our lessons on color theory, it's time to have a bit of fun.
K-8 used a tray with the primary colors to mix and explore by making secondary and then tertiary colors. After that, they could make whatever they wanted!
Middle school went out doors as we filled three large buckets with each of the primary colors. Using reusable waterballoons and water prayers, we combined the colors onto large paper backdrops. One, we also did the secondary and tertiary colors. It was wild!
In the end, I learned two things; these kids will never forget their color theory, AND a paint suit is NOT waterproof.
