so, i just got this mic, and I'm having a bit of trouble with it. I have a razer keyboard and mouse, and bought this mic specifically to coordinate it with my keybored lights too. but every time i enable the streamer companion it basically disables my keybored lights

I'm a kick streamer I really want to just have a emote glowing on my razer siren x obviously I can't set up stream reactive emotes with kick but is there a way I can just choose what emote is on it steadily? maybe with stream deck or something?

i just got this mic and its really good but whenever im silent and dont have a video playing it makes a sound almost like a far helicopter.And it doesnt really bother me but it does bother other people when im playing games etc.. have any ideas why it does this?

hello dear sorry for the inconvenience but the emotes do not work on mine ... I have followed various tutorials and it seems to do everything right but the emotes do not start. I also tried to remove and put back all the applications ... I even changed pc hahah do you have any idea what problem I might have?

CAN SOMEONE ANSWER A QUESTION FOR ME PLEASE? ? So, I just got this mic in the mail today & set it up & all, but the emoticon led display animations come out all bright & it blur it out, so therefore my little emoticon throwing up a rainbow looks really blurry on the recording when I tested it.... any way to clear up the image of the led display through my Razer Kiyo webcam? ?

You could try turning down the screen's brightness in the companion app's settings to avoid overexposing on your camera

I really like the implementation of the screen for streaming, cool idea. If that doesn't matter to people then I think the Yeti is a better option

Love the display and all but as you pointed out it's based on the X rather than the Elite. I can't justify the price of 180$ for a mid-range mic mostly in plastic when there's a much better version in metal for the same price. Unfortunate as the display is really cool and promotes engagement with your viewers.

I wish you would go through how you got it set up since you mentioned razer tech support. I’m pretty dumb when it comes to understanding how these things work and the “plug and play” label is misleading. I have the appropriate software but it doesn’t work on testing or live.

Mr Brown I called Razer and they said it was a hardware issue with my mic so they are replacing it. Purchased from eBay last dec and warranty is good until March 2021. Maybe it was broken or defective? Seller sold as “new”. Will update when I get the new one. Tech used the word plug and play lol.

Hanno van Baarle My computer started crashing like crazy and turns out it was the driver for the mic. So I uninstalled all my razer items (mic, headset, camera, streamer companion) and reinstalled and viola the emotes are there. I question why the computer was having issues with it now (literally two days ago lol) when I’ve had the mic since December and the emotes never worked. But I appreciate the offer 😁 I have no clue why razer didn’t suggest this instead of “testing it on another computer” plus they said “purchase a new mic that will be under warranty”.

So after looking for about 30 minutes I cannot find a solution to my question. If you might know, can you illuminate the side of the microphone that faces you? Or are the emotes and other visualizations only visible on the side of the mic that faces your webcam? If that makes sense lol. I want to see the alerts on my end as well.

@@dannyboyo1996 it's unfortunate lol. 5 months later the mic still works fine but I don't even use the emoji feature since I have the pop filter on so my portable AC isn't too loud.

How did you have the lights in the background connected?

Those are Philips Hue lights which also connect to Razer Synapse and can be controlled via the Streamer Companion App to react to triggers.
