This just made me smile through the the entire thing, within in the first few minutes. What an excellent audience, they were so curious in the harp, her, as well as the music. God for bid, the harp player had a proper audience in this day and age. I did not see any of the cows take out an Ipad, nor a cell. I think we, as humans, should be taking notes from the cows in manners.....seriously. And YES, the woman playing the harp is great at what she does. People dis harp playing, but I have recently seen a few vids, most classical in nature, but I have to say coming from a large metropolitan city in the US, there is something very soothing, relaxing, and any pain I have seems to melt when I hear it. Great video and thx for posting.

But it means something. Besides, we have no idea what level of consciousness other animals have. We can only guesstimate and deduct from their behavior. Considering the fact that many animals have larger brains than homo sapiens, i'd say we have to give some probability that they posses some level of consciousness and perhaps even our level. We are the apex mind on this planet as far as we know, but we can't know for sure. Certain animals have the ability to communicate, give names to each individual (dolphins for example) have empathy, social hierarchies, use tools, solve complex problems, learn sign language (for example gorillas and chimps) mourn their dead (elephants, gorillas, dolphins, ravens for example) plan and strategize for the future (squirrels, apes for example) and so on. We humans certainly are the most capable and intelligent but it's hard to say how far ahead we really are compared to the rest of our relatives.

Some of the more talented cows were selected for harp instruction. Their rear legs could use the sharp/flat pedals but their front hooves caught too many strings to be a classically trained harpist. Nonetheless, the appreciation to this art caused them to fill an arena. Rodeo's arena!

How can anyone eat them you ask? Let me tell you. I grill them, I saute them, I braize them, I slow cook them, I smoke them, I grind them into tiny pieces to make hamburger, I stew them,I make jerky out of them, I use their bones for soup stock, I eat Jello made from them, I drink milk from them, I eat cheese made from their milk, my pizza sometimes has a bit of cow in it. To be honest I really like the taste of them. But only meat cows, not the dairy cows you all just fell in love with.
